A vacancy now exists for the position of Chief Fire Officer. The successful candidate will hold responsibility for the management and administration of Cavan County Council Fire and Emergency Service including the Major Emergency Plan. S/he will also have responsibility for strategic planning and the implementation of any associated change requirements throughout the Fire & Emergency Services.
