FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for Refrigeration Engineering Manager for our clients Farm Division in Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time permanent role. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining our client's divisional Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment to a good mechanical standard while meeting the demands of the division. Reporting to the Site Engineer Manager and Farm Manager you will be responsible for the following duties: Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment within the Farming Division. Install new plant and equipment when required to standards agreed with the Farming Eng. Manager. Advise Farm management and staff on the routine operation and maintenance of all refrigeration and air conditioning as required and to conduct training for them when requested. Assist Farm Managers in the preparation of their annual budgets with projected maintenance and running costs for all refrigeration and air conditioning units on their sites. Provide recommendations on capital expenditure for the replacement of existing, or the acquisition of new refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Ensure that all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment is repaired and maintained at the most optimum cost to the company. Ensure that accurate computerized service records are maintained for all refrigeration and air conditioning units within the Division. Provide an emergency repair service for all sites on a 24-hour basis. Advise on chilling capacity required and to make recommendations to the Farming Eng. Manager how best this demand may be met. Utilize in the most efficient manner possible the work of his/her refrigeration technicians through the proper planning of routine servicing, upgrading of existing facilities and general maintenance. Liaise with the Farming Division MRP Controller in maintaining an adequate supply of spare parts as required for breakdowns and general servicing within levels agreed with Farming Eng. Manager. Candidate profile and experience required. B.Sc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Qualified Refrigeration Engineer. 7 years' experience in managing a large-scale engineering operation in the maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Prepared to work under extreme climatic conditions of the Middle East region. Excellent communicator with good influencing and man management skills. A sound knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnostic fault finding. A sound experience with all types of refrigeration machinery. High degree of confidence and or decision-making capability. Focussed under pressure, self-motivated, assertive, confident, fair, and open-minded. Driving license.
