Civil Estimator Cavan. €50k DOE. Cavan office based. A leading civil contractor is looking to recruit a Civils Estimator for a Cavan based role. The ideal candidate will have 5 years plus experience preferably within the Civils sector. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits; Construction related qualification. Competent in Tender preparation. Able to compile BOQs, take offs and estimations. Competent to challenge design queries if requested. Has worked on projects up to 15m. Can risk manage projects adequately. Happy to negotiate contracts as required. Client facing and customer focused while commercially acute. Happy to liaise with other construction team members in relation to scheduling alterations. Competent in chairing meetings as required. Expert knowledge of Civil Engineering principles, requirements and contracts. Please note this is a brief description of the role.
