CNC Machine Operator. Location - Cavan. Join this top tier engineering firm as part of the their CNC Machine Operator team. If you have operated at a machine operator level or have previous experience working in a Maintenance Operator position or would like to transition into this role we would welcome your application as full training will be provided. Key Duties. Setting and operation of CNC plant and equipment, and other equipment within the cell to ensure high productivity of quality products. Inspection of products. Conformance to company ISO policies, procedures and requirements. Conducting basic operator maintenance task as appropriate, within the individuals capability. Follow operating procedures and customer specifications to produce quality products which are delivered to customers on time. Contribute to the delivery of the manufactured schedule, escalating any issues in a timely manner. Ensure waste is minimised. Demonstrate safe work behaviours to avoid injury to self or others. Problem solve when working machines and to carry out necessary safety checks on machines. Reporting of non-performance or non-compliance of any company policy to appropriate contact. Training other members of staff as requested. Prior experience with Rollomatic or Kirner highly regarded. This is an alternating shift between days and nights.
