Mechanical Engineering Foreman. Commutable from Cavan, Louth and Meath. Sector: Manufacturing. We are looking to speak with time served mechanical fitters that have added an additional diploma/certificate in engineering or management to their academic record for a fantastic opportunity at a manufacturing site in Cavan. You will manage a small team of mechanical fitters and work as part of the wider maintenance team reporting into the maintenance manager. Key Duties: Day to day management of maintenance team plus contractors on site. Oversee capex project implementation. Work with production and the wider site management team to ensure availability and reliability KPI's are achieved. Competent in root cause analysis and investigations. Managing mechanical orders through the work order system including work scheduling. Sharing of knowledge and skills with craft workers. Regular work inspections.
