This role is perfect for any medical professional that is keen to develop new skills in a challenging, exciting environment. The SHO will be responsible for providing frontline care for a wide variety of patients in the Psychiatric Department. They will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, as well as ensuring that duties are undertaken in a way that puts the safety and wellbeing of patients above all else. The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Psychiatry Department, Consultant In-charge , or Registrar . On-call duties are required for a Senior House Officer , and will allow individuals to take full responsibility and gain valuable experience in their specialty. Essential Requirements : IMC registration or in the process of registering with IMC. Relevant qualifications. Previous experience in Psychiatry. Irish or UK experience desirable. Excellent English skills (IELTS or OET. In order to work as a Psychiatric Doctor in Ireland, it is necessary to be registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
