Maintenance Technician. Role Location: Cavan. Sector: Manufacturing. We are working with a leading employer in the Cavan area to source a maintenance technician for their manufacturing site. They will look at experienced options as well as those with up to level 6 qualifications and relevant work experience. The bulk of the work will focus on machine rebuild, reactive and preventative maintenance. The role will require a combination of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems knowledge across multiple platforms or an ability to learn and develop these skills as applicable to the installed base of equipment is essential. Key Duties: Machine re-building of a range of machines. Developing PM,s for all plant and machinery and implementing schedule. Sustaining/maintenance role covering both re-active and basic pm across all machines. Developing documentation for future training- Picture Driven step by step procedures. The role will also include an element of machine / process improvement and development activity within the groups range of manufacturing processes. Providing planning and expertise with the planning and installation of services required for new equipment installs and reorganisations for existing equipment processes. Undertake various aspects of facilities related maintenance function. As required, work with, direct and support external contractors in the delivery of sub-contracted maintenance tasks. Attending, leading and undertaking (with local teams and suppliers as necessary) all rebuild activity. Working with site management to establish/agree priorities and resource requirements.
