FRS recruitment is currently seeking highly motivated and passionate Psychiatry professionals to fill roles with leading Irish hospitals nationwide in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS/Child Psychiatry. The registrar is responsible for providing frontline and hands on care for a wide variety of patients up to the age of 18 within the Psychiatry Department . Not only does the registrar provide this frontline medical care to patients with mild to severe conditions, they are also responsible for guiding and training the junior staff ( SHOs ). Child Psychiatry professionals are responsible for providing support not just to adolescent patients, but to parents and guardians as well, throughout treatment. On-call duties are required for this position and will allow individuals to take full responsibility and gain valuable experience in their speciality. Additionally, the ability to drive and the access to one's own transportation is key to the fulfilment of any Psychiatry Registrar role. Taking on this position enables a highly motivated experienced medical professional to develop and perfect new and existing skills in the field of Child Psychiatry and to apply their extensive knowledge in a challenging but worthwhile and exciting environment. Essential Requirements: IMC registration or in the process of registering with IMC. A valid driver's licence and access to your own transport. Relevant qualifications. 5 years of relevant experience. Previous experience with Child Psychiatry. Irish or UK experience desirable. Excellent English skills (IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 7.0, or OET with overall Grade B result.
