Production Team Leader - County Cavan. In this role you will ensure that the operators are working on the correct products as per the rolling plan/schedule, to ensure through supervision and planning that targets are being achieved, and that all work is carried out to the expected quality standard in a safe, clean working environment. The Team Leader is also responsible for signing-off on operators wages weekly and carrying out disciplinaries if and when necessary. Key Accountabilities and requirements: • Ability to follow production schedules and solve problems as they arise. • Ability to ensure production targets are met and exceeded in the area. • Sign-off on employee wages on a weekly basis and monitor clock-in's for breaches of time and attendance rules. Monitor holidays to ensure staffing levels are maintained in the area to achieve daily targets. • Ensure all relevant Quality and Health and Safety procedures are being adhered to so as to ensure a safe working environment. • Ability to effectively communicate with other departments e.g. Design, Logistics, Quality, Shipping, Planning, Purchasing and Management to ensure all problems are dealt with in a timely manner and targets can be achieved. Interested applicants should have: • Ideally a Certificate or similar relevant qualification in manufacturing or supervision. • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a supervision or manufacturing lead role. • Excellent communication and people skills. • Competent in computers, especially Word and Excel. • Ability to read designs drawing effectively. • Proven ability to achieve tight deadlines.
