Van Driver/Sales. Location: Cavan. Role Type: Permanent. My client a leading confectionary supplier in the Cavan area is seeking a Van Driver/Sales person to join their growing team. You will be responsible for the delivery of outgoing products to retail outlets as well as promoting new and additional products to the customer base. Your roster will be full time but across 4 days, Mon, Tues, Thursday and Friday. For two days you will be servicing Dublin and the other two days are down the midlands, prior knowledge of this territory will be highly regarded. Job Description: Deliver food products to a variety of different customers. Follow route and time schedule. Load, unload, prepare and operate delivery vehicle. Getting signatures for goods received by customer. Collecting payments securely. Up-selling of other items in the range. Build good relationships with customers. Successful candidates should have: Proven work experience as a delivery driver knowledge of local areas and routes would be an advantage. Full clean drivers license.
