We are seeking an experienced Catering Assistants for Cavan area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career. Job Monday to Friday 9pm-3am. Duties: Basic preparation of food • Cleaning of the kitchen, its surrounds and equipment • The serving of meals ensuring correct portion control • General kitchen duties Adhering to all HACCP regulations Putting away food deliveries Plating desserts and salads for service Covering pot wash as required Cleaning of all fridges and freezers in the main kitchen Cleaning hot plate in staff restaurant. Must have: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent oral and written English Excellent customer service skills. Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative. A good knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP. 1 year experience in a similar environment would be very beneficial Experience of Cash Handling Good timekeeping To be able to commit to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene.
