Occupational Health Nurse - County Cavan. This is a permanent part-time position. As the in-house Occupational Health Nurse you will work with cross-functional departments to support a positive Health & Safety culture and a safe place to work. The Health & Safety Manager will look to you to co-ordinate the Health & Safety operations and this role will play a key part in ensuring the company is meeting statutory requirements and obligations. The HR Department will work with you to ensure any medical assessments for current and future employees are carried out to ensure a safe and enjoyable place to work is maintained. Main Responsibilities: • Fitness to work assessments. • Pre-employment assessments. • Active case management. • Health/wellness education. • Medical surveillance programmes. • Workplace assessments. • Vaccination programmes. • Provide training programmes. • Managing work-related incidents/ accidents. • Return to Work/Absenteeism Management. • Maintain medical information and records. Interested candidates should have: • Hold a general nurse qualification. • Hold full An Bord Altranais registration. • Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Health. • Have at least a minimum of 4 years' post-registration experience, two of which have been in Occupational Health.
